Purpose:
Welcomes and provides assistance to graduates, faculty, senior administration, and guests at Convocation ceremonies. Acts as a team lead for a group of 5-10 student staff.
Education:
High school diploma
Experience:
Previous York Convocation work experience is required.
Customer service.
Event assistance.
Leadership.
Skills:
Ability to deal effectively and efficiently with students, faculty staff, and the public.
Tact and diplomacy.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work under pressure of high volume.
High attention to detail.
Team player.
Additional Notes:
May be required to lift up to 10 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
