Purpose:
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Digital Content Assistant produces and manages content to promote the Schulich School of Business in digital platforms.
Education:
Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of one-year related experience with content creation and maintaining social media presence.
Skills:
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to create quality content across all social media platforms.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to deal courteously and effectively with people.
- Effective organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook or PowerPoint.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Digital media, and scheduling platforms such as Sprout Social.
- Proficient in using a digital Single-lens reflex camera.
- Ability to use social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta or Twitter.
