Purpose:
Schulich ExecEd is a revenue-generating strategic business unit within the Schulich School of Business, with a mission to deliver high-quality non-degree executive and management education programs. Our clients encompass middle to senior-level managers and executives from the public, not-for-profit, and private sectors. The Program and Client Specialist role plays a critical part in providing valuable support to Schulich Executive Education programs and effectively responding to customer and prospect queries by coordinating a portfolio of high-value clients and ensuring high-quality program design and delivery. The role contributes to the development and maintenance of positive customer relationships by supporting the full program lifecycle including responding to RFPs, conducting client needs assessments, coordinating program delivery and measuring client satisfaction, while ensuring smooth operation, client satisfaction and overall business success.

Education:
Bachelors degree in relevant field or an equivalent of 4 years recent experience (defined as within the last five years) working at York University and performing the same or similar tasks. This education equivalency is in addition to the experiential requirements outlined below.

Experience:
Three (3) years related experience in a program and client support, including sales support. Project coordination experience including using formal project management methodologies and tools. Experience with ERP and CRM Systems. Experience with graphic and visual design.

- Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal courteously, tactfully, and effectively with external partners, students, faculty, and staff. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Effective analytical skills, including the ability to collect and analyze data and prepare reports for various audiences, in a variety of formats.
- Effective interpretive thinking skills, including the ability to objectively analyze information and draw a rational conclusion. Ability to conduct thorough research and write clear and concise procedural documentation and reports.
- Effective presentation. Ability to create high quality documents for print or display on-screen.
- Effective attention to detail, including accurate proofreading and cross-referencing skills.
- Effective organizational and time management skills, including the ability to coordinate competing processes and functions independently to meet deadlines.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and flexibility in an environment of continuous change and process improvement.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team in an environment of high volume and competing priorities.
- Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills, including demonstrated knowledge of functions/formulae, creating queries and reports. Knowledge:
- Knowledge and understanding of Executive Education Market.
- In-depth understanding of AODA principles and customer service practices.
