Purpose:
The Strength and Conditioning Support Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of strength, conditioning, agility, and power programming for York Lion Varsity athletes.
Education:
Must be enrolled as a York student. Current Emergency CPR and First Aid preferred
Experience:
Experience or interest working with athletes in a training environment.
Skills:
- Ability to lead and motivate others towards learning new knowledge.
- Ability to communicate with others to explain and share information.
- Ability to understand and demonstrate instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to take initiative and demonstrate leadership skills.
- Ability to exercise judgement and decision making.
Additional Notes:
Ability to lift/move/carry equipment or material of varying weights up to 50lb.
