Purpose:
As partners in student success, the Division of Students (the Division) provides services, programs and facilities that foster academic success, student development and community engagement. Supporting the Division, the Communications and Marketing team creates strategic, timely, targeted and engaging student-centric communications. Under the direction of the Director, Admissions Project, the CRM Coordinator accurately develops, coordinates, plans, and executes on electronic content for prospective and current student audiences, contributing to the marketing and communications focused portions of the build, testing and launch phases of a new Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) implementation. The role uses the CRM to gather, compile and utilize data to segment and plan for the distribution of communications aligned with divisional marketing and communication objectives. The role also uses the CRM to create new and update existing digital communications and journeys and validate information with key partners across the University (namely divisional units and faculties) to ensure timely, relevant and accurate information is available to audiences. The role stays abreast of new trends and practices in web technology and applications to ensure divisional marketing and communication objectives are met. The role contributes to fostering a positive, supportive and student-focused environment by enhancing collaboration, maintaining communication, and embracing continuous improvement with a focus on digital technologies and applications. The role advances institutional decolonization, equity, diversity and inclusion (DEDI) priorities across all student-centric communications.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, analytics, user experience design, English or a related field or an equivalent of 4 years recent experience (defined as within the last five years) working at York University and performing the same or similar tasks. This education equivalency is in addition to the experiential requirements outlined below.

Experience:
Two (2) years of recent related experience directly working with CRM such as Salesforce or other equivalent systems, designing marketing automation journeys, creating email marketing content, updating websites and coordinating editing/writing content geared toward learner/student recruitment or student-facing communications.

- Ability to apply the principles of effective web design, graphic design, user experience design, and accessibility for web (AODA, WCAG).
- Ability to apply the principles of data privacy and applicable laws and regulations (local and global) including PHIPA, CASL, and GPDR.Additional knowledge required:
- Knowledge of constituent relationship management (CRM) software such as Salesforce
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools and software such as Marketing Cloud
- Advanced Knowledge of MS Office 365 applications
- Knowledge of project management software (Jira, MS Planner) and basic principles of project management (Waterfall, Scrum, Agile).
