Purpose:
Reporting to the Director, International Recruitment, the Regional Recruitment Manager plays a vital role in strengthening and sustaining international enrolment pipelines within assigned region(s). In collaboration with the Director. this role is responsible for the development and oversight of regional recruitment plans, lead market development within the assigned portfolio, cultivate and manage relationships and operationalize enrolment strategies that support York University's international enrolment objectives. The position requires extensive international travel within assigned region(s), and occasional travel within Canada. The role also supports the Director with projects and strategic initiatives that advance York University's broader international recruitment and enrolment objectives.The Regional Manager leads the oversight and evaluation of regional recruitment strategies and initiatives. This includes managerial oversight of third-party contractors and in-country representatives, the evaluation, onboarding, and training of recruitment agents and establishing priorities for recruitment outreach and engagement activities delivered by recruitment staff and partners. The role also leads the interpretation of market intelligence and enrolment data to inform strategic planning and provides recommendations on institutional initiatives that support international enrolment goals
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as Business Administration, International Relations, or Education.
- Valid G' driver's license and Valid Passport.Note: Verification of degree(s)/credential(s) is required.
Experience:
- 5 years of related experience.
- 3 years of management experience.
- Experience in international enrolment, business development and marketing, or related experience in project management or strategy development.
- Experience living or working abroad.
- Experience in developing and maintaining successful community partnerships.
- Experience working within the post-secondary international education sector.
- Experience with large record management systems like MSAccess, CRM Dynamics, SIS.

- Functional written and oral fluency in at least one additional language (e.g., French, Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, Bengali, Urdu, Turkish, Farsi) is an asset.

Additional Notes:
- Normal office environment.
- Required to travel internationally as required to between10-14 weeks per year with significant evening and weekend work.

*Compensation:
York's CPM Compensation Framework has a salary grid consisting of 6 or 8 steps (depending on job grade) which is reviewed annually with possible adjustments, and a lump sum Performance Based Recognition Award.
