Purpose:

Education:
High school diploma with some post-secondary education, such as College certificate in business, or completion of some related University courses.

Experience:
Two (2) years of experience in office administration and front desk reception in an academic School / Department. Recent experience supporting teaching/courses.

Effective communication skills to obtain and relay information accurately.
Effective customer service skills and capabilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Able to pay attention to detail.
Ability to exercise good judgment and initiative.
Able to work effectively and accurately under pressure of high volume and constant interruptions.
Ability to multi-task.
Effective organizational skills including ability to set priorities and proactively pursues completion of tasks to meet deadlines.
Able to work independently, as well as working effectively in a team.
Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel).
Knowledge of an on-line computerized records system (SIS).
Knowledge of updating websites (WordPress).
