Purpose:
The Graphic Design and Multimedia Assistant supports the creation of engaging, brand-aligned visual and multimedia content across digital and print platforms for the Faculty of Graduate Studies under the direction of Associate Director, Graduate Communications and Digital Engagement.
Education:
Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree program in digital media, graphic design, communications, multimedia, visual arts, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 years related experience supporting digital communications, graphic design, multimedia production, marketing, or content creation initiatives.
Skills:
- Effective graphic design skills with the ability to create visually engaging and brand-aligned content.
- Effective photography and videography skills, including the ability to capture and edit visual content.
- Effective communication skills.
- Effective attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, organize work, and manage competing deadlines.
- Familiarity with digital content management systems, social media management tools, and analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Knowledge of digital accessibility principles and standards, including AODA and WCAG.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
