Purpose:
Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Coordinator contributes to all brand related activities, coordinates internal and external communications and media communications, and coordinates the design and development of all marketing collateral and channels related to Schulich School of Business including those that promote IT-focused programs and the Institute of Digital Business (IDB) portfolio. The role ensures the development of practices, processes and procedures that support strategic communications and marketing to build brand awareness and quality lead generation.
Education:
University Degree in related field such as Marketing or Business Administration or an equivalent of 4 years recent experience (defined as within the last five years) working at York University and performing the same or similar tasks. This education equivalency is in addition to the experiential requirements outlined below.
Experience:
Two (2) years related experience developing and coordinating marketing campaigns, social media platforms and email campaigns. Experience leading projects and project teams.

Ability to safeguard sensitive and confidential data.
Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel in area of expertise.
Accuracy and acute attention to detail including proofreading and copy-editing skills.
Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Functionality with CRM and CMS platforms. Functionality with Social Media sites (twitter, blog, Flickr), Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe.
Familiar with a wide cross-section of computer hardware, operating systems, and software. Knowledge:
Knowledge and experience in print production, project management and creative development processes.
Basic understanding of financial reviewing procedures, budgets and cost centres.
