Purpose:
Reporting to the Manager, Event and Client Operations and under the workflow coordination of the full-time Event Operations Coordinator, the Webcast Camera Operator provides basic camera operation support for convocation ceremonies and other university events.

Education:
Completion of a high school diploma.

Experience:
Up to three months experience with video camera operation or audio-visual equipment is an asset.

Skills:

- Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain focus.
- Basic knowledge of camera operation (framing, focus, zoom).
- Ability to communicate clearly and respond to instructions in real time.
- Ability to adapt to changes in requirements during live events.

Additional Notes:

- Ability to lift over 25lbs
