Purpose:
The Recreation Operations Representative supports the delivery of recreational sport programs and activities at the Markham Campus, including drop-in sports, intramurals, and special events and tournaments, under the direction of the Manager, Recreation.

Education:

- Minimum completion of the first year in a post-secondary diploma or degree program in Sport Management, Kinesiology, or another related field.
- Current Standard First Aid Certification from one of the following agencies Lifesaving Society, Canadian Red Cross, or St. John Ambulance

Experience:
Minimum of 6 months' experience supporting recreation or sport operations in a post-secondary or community recreation environment.

Skills:

- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, online forms, and survey tools.
- Effective customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow established procedures and standards.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple activities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to respond appropriately in recreation and event environments.

Additional Notes:
Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
