Purpose:
The Department Support Assistant provides customer service, student support in enrolment and scheduling, and other administrative support for the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EECS) Department under the direction of the Manager, Academic & Administrative Operations.
Education:
Some post-secondary education in office administration or similar programs.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-year experience with databases, reports, and student information systems. Experience with York University's Student Information System (SIS) is an asset.
Skills:
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate organizational skills to carry out a variety of tasks.
- Ability to pay attention to detail.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

This position is fully on-campus (in-person).
