Purpose:
The Strength and Conditioning Representative supports the full time staff in delivering strength and conditioning programming at the Strength & Conditioning High Performance Centre to enhance the student athlete experience, under the direction of the manager. This role requires commitment and adherence to the values and principles of Athletics & Recreation as expressed in the mandate of the department.

Education:
A University degree is required, a degree in Kinesiology or any related field in the sciences is an asset. NSCA (National Strength Conditioning Certificate), CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) are required.CFC (Certified Fitness Consultant), CPT (Certified Personal Trainer ) and/or CSCA (Canadian Strength and Conditioning Association) membership is an asset

Experience:
Minimum of 1 year related experience.

Skills:
Ability to communicate with others to explain and share information.Ability to understand and demonstrate instructions, policies & procedures.Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
