Purpose:
This position provides customer service in Scott Library during the evening and weekend shifts including providing a wide range of services at the public service desk. This role is responsible for the coordination of casual part-time staff and is also responsible for closing the library.
Education:
High school Diploma.
Experience:
One year of recent library experience in a high volume area. Previous experience coordinating the work of others.
Skills:
Basic keyboard skills to operate a computer terminal required.Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Ability to answer inquiries clearly and concisely. Proven ability to deal calmly, effectively and courteously with sensitive security situations, tact and diplomacy.

Ability to lift and bend.
