Purpose:
Established in 2019, the Cross-Campus Capstone Classroom (C4) program was designed to bring students together from across York Faculties and campuses, connect them with community and industry experts, and provide opportunities to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams on real-world challenges with social impact. This unique work integrated learning (WIL) program attracts highly diverse students and enables them to develop and hone transferrable skills while learning the value of multiple perspectives and approaches to research, design, and problem solving.The Manager, C4 Program, is a dynamic, flexible, collaborative, impactful, and creative role that will oversee the planning, administration, project management, and development of the award-winning Cross-Campus Capstone Classroom (C4) program through teamwork with the program's academic leadership. Through this work, this role will contribute to new initiatives and program development for the advancement of the Lassonde School of Engineering and its academic programs and operations.As a work integrated learning (WIL) program, C4 brings a wide variety of partners from business, industry, community, and government to York's campus on a weekly basis and, in turn, takes York students off-campus into a range of industry and community spaces. Therefore, fostering new and existing relationships with a wide variety of partners is a key aspect of this role. This role will be expected to utilize work integrated learning methods, strategic relationship management, and advanced project planning tools to drive the development of this growing program. The role will work in a student-focused space that prioritizes building secure, reciprocal, long-term relationships with partners in a diverse range of sectors. Education:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as Business Administration.
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent required.

Experience:

5 years of related experience.
Experience in strategic stakeholder relationship management, project management and administration of programs using a student-centred approach based on adult learning principles.
Experience with project management, CRM, financial reporting software.

Knowledge
Understanding of the post-secondary education sector.
Knowledge of work-integrated learning and experiential education principles.
Understanding of process improvement methodologies and project management principles.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Forms, SharePoint, and Outlook
Ability to adopt emerging technologies and/or platforms that facilitate communication and remote work initiatives (i.e., social media platforms, WordPress, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, Google Docs, YouTube, etc.)
Proficiency in project management software (i.e., Monday.com and Miro) and CRM software.

*Compensation:
York's CPM Compensation Framework has a salary grid consisting of 6 or 8 steps (depending on job grade) which is reviewed annually with possible adjustments, and a lump sum Performance Based Recognition Award. Employees will receive the grid adjustment and depending on performance, eligible permanent employees may move to the next step of the grid and may receive a lump sum Performance Based Recognition Award.Visit the CPM Compensation page on the HR Website to find out more about York's CPM Compensation Program.
