Purpose:
The Canadian Knowledge Mobilization Forum (CKF) is a biennial, bilingual national event dedicated to the professional development, learning, and networking of individuals and organizations engaged in knowledge mobilization, translation, and exchange. CKF brings together a diverse community of researchers, students, knowledge brokers, policymakers, community partners, and professional staff across sectors to share ideas, tools, practices, and insights that drive impact and collaboration. CKF26 is in-person, three-day event scheduled for July 28-30, 2026, at the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning in downtown Toronto.The Knowledge Mobilization Coordinator (CKF26) plays a key role in delivering this national conference attended by leaders across academia, government, and community sectors. This role offers opportunities to sit in on high-level sessions and conversations shaping the future of knowledge mobilization in Canada. This role coordinates key components of the Forum experience to ensure the event meets its goals, stays on budget, and delivers a high-quality, engaging, and bilingual experience for all participants.
Education:
Current student. starting work within six months of graduation. or returning to school in September 2026.
Experience:
Experience managing conferences, large events, or complex projects is preferred.Experience coordinating vendors, logistics, and event timelines is preferred.
Skills:
Effective project management and organizational skills.
Ability to pay attention to detail.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
Ability to recognize and solve problems.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Bilingual (French and English) is preferred.
