Purpose:
The Graphic Design Assistant provides creative design and administrative support for digital and physical materials in the department of Athletics & Recreation under the direction of Manager, Marketing & Communications.
Education:
Must be a current student.
Experience:
Previous experience in Adobe Creative Suite is required.
Skills:
Effective communication skills.
Ability to source images, fonts, and utilize design techniques.
Ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to demonstrate organizational skills to carry out a variety of tasks.
Knowledge of digital technology and graphic design software.
Knowledge of design principles, file preparation, and colour press printing.
Knowledge of video editing software is an asset.
Knowledge of various sports is an asset.
Additional Notes:
Graphic design portfolio or samples with application is required.
