Purpose:
The IT Systems Support Assistant provides operational, project, and technical support for the web server and systems in the Osgoode Professional Development under the direction of the Manager, Information Technology and Innovation.

Education:
Completion of a diploma or degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience:
Minimum of 1-year experience in IT systems support and maintenance.

Skills:
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to communicate with others to explain and share information.
Ability to demonstrate organizational skills to carry out a variety of tasks.
Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills.
Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, database design, SEO, GEO, accessibility standards (such as AODA, W3C) and ITIL framework.
Knowledge of MS Office, SharePoint, MS Project, MS Team, vSphere and vCenter.
Proficient in web technologies such as Linux, PHP, HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL, Python, SSH, sFTP, RESTful APIs and Apache.
