Purpose:
The Classroom IT Support Assistant is responsible for providing technical support with various classroom technologies to facilitate the teaching of in person and hybrid classes under the direction of the Associate Director, Business Operations.

Education:
College Diploma in a related technology field such as Computer Science or Information Technology.

Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year experience providing technical support services.

Skills:
Skills: - Effective analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Effective written and oral communication skills including ability to provide detailed information and answer questions in a clear concise professional manner. - Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to follow schedules closely and provide required support. - Ability to deal calmly, courteously and effectively with others. Technical Knowledge: - Microsoft Windows, macOS - Microsoft Office Suite - Wired and wireless network connectivity (802.11 wireless networks and Ethernet) - Computer hardware, software, and peripherals - Video conferencing systems (such as Zoom and MS Teams) - Cameras (such as PTZ cameras and webcams) - Microphones (wired and wireless)
