Purpose:
The Digital Learning Support Assistant provides front-line technical, operational, and participant support for online, hybrid, and in-person professional education programs, webinars, conferences, and special events for Osgoode Professional Development, under the direction of the Manager, IT & Innovation.

Education:
Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree program in Educational Technology, Digital Media, Information Technology, Audio Visual Technology, Communications Technology, Event Technology, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum of 1-year of relevant experience supporting online, hybrid, and live learning environments and educational technology platforms and providing technical and AV support within a post-secondary, continuing education, professional development, or conference environment.

Skills:
Knowledge of online learning management systems and tools (e.g., Moodle/eClass)
Knowledge of recording and streaming platforms, webinar and virtual event technologies (Zoom Meetings, Zoom Webinar), classroom presentation systems, and assistive and accessibility technologies.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Office).
Ability to troubleshoot routine technical issues in live learning environments.
Ability to remain calm and effective during live events.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in time-sensitive situations.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to pay attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective customer service skills to address user inquiries and respond in a timely manner.
Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy.

Additional Notes:
Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
